Dr Hong and her two high school kids went to Jamaica this July to provide comprehensive dental care to children and adults in Kew Park, Westmoreland through Jamaica Dental Mission. JDM has been going to Jamaica since 2000. There were dozens of volunteers who traveled to Western Jamaica for this one week trip. They included dentists, hygienists, pharmacists, ATSU dental students, SIUe pharmacy students, high school and college students. It was truly an amazing experience and makes us appreciate the access to dental care that is available in the US.
